For Branch Leader Julia Bell, Movement Mortgage is like the roof over an entire house – not just a single room. Her Oviedo team is in place to help clients with their financial health overall, looking out for their best interests beyond a one-time home loan.
“We have our clients’ best interest at heart and are known as financial-consultant experts in the industry,” she says. “Let’s say someone wants to refinance their mortgage at a lower interest rate. While evaluating their application, we can identify other ways to improve their financial well-being. We might recommend they not only refinance but also use that refinance to pay off the 23-percent-interest credit card that is eating them alive. This will truly set them up for financial success."
The Movement Mortgage team looks at a client’s big picture and recommends ways to use the equity in their home to free them of nagging debt. That kind of perspective and advice is what prompts clients to seek out Movement Mortgage’s services again and again and refer their friends and family, too.
Whether you are a first-time homebuyer, move-up buyer, or investor alike, there are programs available for as little as three-percent down. VA loans (for active military and veterans), renovation loans, and non-conforming (jumbo) loans are available, too. Mortgage programs and market conditions are ever-changing, so seasoned mortgage professionals like those on Julia Bell’s team at Movement Mortgage will always ensure that you are making the best financial decisions.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Born in Winter Park, Julia was raised in Oviedo and, with her husband, is raising two teenage sons here. She’s committed to a company that is committed to helping others.
Besides being the seventh-largest lender in the U.S., what makes Movement Mortgage different, Julia says, is its alignment with the local and global community. The company gives a whopping 46 percent of its profits to charity through its Movement Foundation, which is the majority shareholder of Movement Mortgage. This enables the foundation to support a farm in Uganda, subsidize schools, and let team members choose local charities that mean something to them.
“Mine is Autism Speaks, as my 13-year-old has autism,” says Julia. “Each employee signs up for a cause of their choice and then, as a team, we give back to that charity.”
Julia’s teammate Patrick McDaniel helps organize blood drives, as heart health is important to him. The branch regularly supports The HOPE Chest Thrift Store in Oviedo, as well, and Julia is currently taking part in an international Hike for Hope virtual sports fundraiser for hunger relief.
Movement Mortgage offers comprehensive financial services – with a solid mission of giving behind them.
“We put clients – and our community – on the right path,” Julia says.
