Muscle Walk of Central Florida
512 E Washington Street, Orlando, FL 32081
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is bringing strength to life for kids and adults in the Central Florida community with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases at the 2019 MDA Muscle Walk of Orlando on September 7, 2019.
The 9th annual MDA Muscle Walk is a meaningful way for families, friends, neighbors and local businesses in Central Florida to come together to raise critical awareness and funds for muscle-debilitating diseases that severely weaken muscle strength and mobility. This year’s walk includes a route designed for participants of all ages and abilities, including a wheelchair and equipment-friendly course. “There are kids and adults in our community living with muscular dystrophy and related diseases that take away everyday abilities like walking, hugging and even breathing,” said MDA Development Specialist, Nikki Coppola. “When you support the MDA Muscle Walk of Orlando, you can help change that by helping us fund urgently-needed research, treatments and support that will help these individuals live longer and grow stronger
The Muscle Walk event is scheduled for 9:00am at Lake Eola Park. Day of check in will begin at 8:30am. Lake Eola Park is located at 512 E Washington St, Orlando, FL 32801.
Please join us for a day of fun that is sure to leave you feeling amazing. Expected to be in attendance at the event are many sponsors, families, and entertainment for all.

Last year, dedicated participants raised $8 million through Muscle Walk for MDA and more than $33.8 million has been raised since Muscle Walk began in 2011. Funds raised also make MDA Summer Camp possible for hundreds of area kids where they can experience the best week of the year at no cost to their families at Florida Elks Youth Camp in Umatilla.
