Behind the Scenes of our Cutest Cover Ever

Featured Photo from Behind the Scenes of our Cutest Cover Ever

Chances are, if you receive our magazine in the mail you have already gotten your copy of our January/February issue. And chances are if you have received that copy, you cooed over the amazingly adorable quadruplet girls on our cover. We had a lot of fun shooting with Lizzy, Laurel, Brenna, and Robin- and we hope you enjoy this behind the scenes look at (quite possibly) my favorite day of work ever.

First of all- we must give a shout out to photographer Summer Starr, who set up the most adorable background for our New Years' themed photo shoot in her studio. The quads, their big sister Isla, mom Amie, dad Ryan, and grandma arrived in two cars and that's when the fun began. It was all hands on deck to change the babies into their adorable outfits.

We propped them up on the couch and made sure that Mom and Grandma were seated just outside of the frame to catch anyone should they roll off the couch.

The girls were unbelievably cooperative, even when their hats fell in front of their eyes, or we had to readjust their position. They just sat there, willingly, while we sang repeated verses of The Itsy Bitsy Spider.

Summer snapped away while we sang, smiled, adjusted and played peek-a-boo. The results were well worth the effort, and we hope you enjoyed the finished product as much as we enjoyed producing it.

Happy New Year from Lizzy and me- I couldn't resist grabbing a selfie with one of the stars. Can you blame me?
