My family loves to travel, especially during the holidays. We also love to participate in other celebrations from cultures that differ from ours.

My family loves to travel, especially during the holidays. We also love to participate in other celebrations from cultures that differ from ours.

Experience some unique holiday traditions just minutes from Orlando Sanford International (SFB) destination airports.

Christmas Town, USA (McAdenville, North Carolina) 17 miles from Charlotte
Since the 1940s this little-known textile town has been celebrating Christmas with gusto. Each day at 5:30 p.m., more than 375 trees light up at nearly every home in this quaint hamlet. More than a half million visitors annually drive or walk through the decorated streets, taking part in parades and markets. Located just outside of Charlotte, there is plenty more to do, including visiting the spectacular display at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Koziar’s Christmas Village  (Bernville, Pennsylvania) 52 miles from Harrisburg
Themes like Christmas under the Sea and Christmas in the Jungle are just a couple of the one million displays in this little winter wonderland. From historic homes to chicken coops, you’ll find yuletide joy on every corner.

Winter Village at Bryant Park (New York, NY)
When you think of Christmas in New York, you probably picture the Rockefeller  Center Christmas Tree, but more real family fun can be found at Winter Village in Bryant Park. Known as the epicenter of Fashion Week, this park is iced over to form a huge downtown rink. The little market surrounding it is a perfect place to find your 2019 Christmas ornament – a Rowe Family Tradition.

Three Kings Day (San Juan, Puerto Rico)
Start your holiday vacation with traditional Puerto Rican cuisine on Christmas Eve. Then stay until the grand finale –Three Kings Day on January 6, the day in the island nation where children get their gifts.
