Stetson Mansion eighth Annual Christmas Spectacular Tour
November 15 to January 15
Enjoy a spectacular holiday home tour at DeLand’s Stetson Mansion. A few of this year’s room themes include Angels We Have Heard on High, O Little Town of Bethlehem, Let There Be Peace on Earth (A Tribute to our Military,) and We Three Kings. Tours are 75 to 90 minutes long and run three times daily, except Sunday mornings. Reservations are required for all tours. Cost is $25+tax for adults and $15+tax for ages 6 to 22. Ride the Ferris Wheel and Ice Skate at Light Up UCF
Opens on Friday, November 16
Take the family to this winter theme park located in the liveliest corner of the UCF campus, the CFE Arena. Light Up UCF features several rides, Orlando’s largest outdoor ice-skating rink, and a Ferris wheel. Visit for more info.

Winter on the Avenue
Starting in mid-November
Go ice skating with family and friends at Winter Park’s popular outdoor rink in Central Park West Meadow. All-day general admission is $13, including skate rental. On Friday, December 7, join in the traditional Winter Park holiday festivities as Park Avenue is transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with a tree lighting, carolers, and more. Nights of Lights in Historic St. Augustine
November 17 to February 3
During this year’s 25th annual Nights of Lights, downtown businesses stay open later, letting you dine and shop in view of more than three million twinkling lights. City trains and trolleys offer special seasonal tours that take you through the best areas.There are also a variety of specialty tours – everything from walking tours to horse-and-carriage rides, and even tours to see the lights from the water and from the air. A Mount Dora Christmas
Starting on Saturday, November 24
This year, things will kick off with the 36th Annual Light Up Mount Dora event at Donnelly Park where more than two million sparkling lights will brighten the night. Other events include the Christmas Walk, Christmas Parade, and performances of The Nutcracker by the Mount Dora School of Ballet. Visit for more info.

Play in the Snow at Celebration Town Center
November 24 through December 31
The annual, month-long Now Snowing event at Celebration Town Center has a holiday program featuring an ice rink, strolling Charles Dickens Carolers, community performers, photos with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, the Celebration Express train, and nightly snowfall at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 p.m. The program will also operate on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. Wekiva Island Winter Wonderland
December 1 to December 31
The popular chill spot on the Wekiva River will feature daily events all December long such as outdoor movies, snow slides, toy soldier stilt walkers, Santa visits, and tons of real snow. Experience evening snowfall every night at 6:00 p.m. Wekiva Island will also be open on Christmas Day. For additional information, visit

Sanford Holiday Tour of Homes
Saturday, December 1, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The Sanford Historic Trust is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its annual Holiday Tour of Homes. Visit historic homes in the area and enjoy the charm of Sanford’s historic district. Start the tour at any tour stop, but you check in first to get wristbands and a tour guidebook. Guests can also take a trolley ride, which will loop around the area. Cost is $25 per person. This event is a fundraiser for the Sanford Historic Trust. For more info visit

Holiday Décor and Live Music at Bok Tower Gardens
Events begin on Saturday, December 1
Tour the ornately decorated Pinewood Estate at Bok Tower Gardens or walk the gardens while relaxing to holiday music.    Two popular upcoming events include:
Saturday, December 1, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. – Enjoy a full day of music and holiday festivities culminating in an evening finale performance by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and the Singing Tower Carillon. Cost is $30 per person.
Sunday, December 16, 4:00 p.m. – Carillon and Chorale Holiday Concert featuring the Singing Tower Carillon and a live choir. The cost is included in your admission ticket.

Daytona Beach Christmas Boat Parade
Saturday, December 1, 6:00 p.m.
Enjoy the holiday lights gleaming off the ripples of water at night from any number of riverfront vantage points in Daytona Beach as lavishly decorated vessels blast holiday sounds. The boats will parade along the Halifax River and culminate at the Halifax Harbor Marina. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Light the Way of Volusia County, a cancer patient support organization. Visit for more info.

Downtown for the Holidays in Orlando
December 1 to January 6, 2019
Businesses in downtown Orlando will be decked out with festival lights and window decorations. A map of all participating businesses can be found online or picked up at the Downtown Orlando Information Center. Additionally, starting with the official Tree Lighting Celebration on December 1, Lake Eola Park’s Eola Wonderland Christmas Tree comes alive with a synchronized light and music show. Christmas in the Park in Winter Park
Thursday, December 6, 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Every year, the Morse Museum kicks off the holiday season in Winter Park by lighting up Tiffany glass windows in Central Park and presenting the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Ensemble in concert. Bring chairs, blankets, and snacks, and sit back to enjoy the music of the night. Alcohol is allowed in the park.

25 Years & 25 Inns – Silver Jubilee Tour in St. Augustine
December 8 and 9
The self-guided tour of more than 20 historic inns decked out for the holidays is as delicious as it is pretty because culinary treats prepared by local restaurants await you at each stop. Your ticket will include an extensive tour booklet with a map of each day’s inns on tour, museums on tour, restaurant partners, and more. You can begin at any inn and go in any order. Singing Christmas Trees at First Baptist Orlando
December 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, and 16
The Singing Christmas Trees is an exciting presentation of Christmas classics featuring a huge choir, full orchestra, dance, powerful drama, and a beautiful display of 250,000 lights on two 45-foot-tall Christmas trees. An hour before the show begins, go for a stroll through the all-new Bethlehem Village and meet characters from the traditional Christmas story and live animals in the petting zoo. Thursday and Friday presentations are at 7:30 p.m., Saturday presentations are at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday presentations are at 5:00 p.m.
