Since our September/October 2016 issue, cover star the Little Free Lake Mary “Fairy” Library has made some big additions to its small repertoire that are sure to add some fun to your summer library routine!
The Little Free Lake Mary “Fairy” Library is currently stocked with a “Summertime Blues” theme for all it’s reads, and will be celebrating the “Dog Days of Summer” with all animal-themed books a little later in the season.
In addition to books, the LFL has also recently added a geocache and hosts both Sanford Rocks and Lake Mary Rocks - the fun community activity where you paint rocks and “hide” them around town to spread creativity and joy!
Also, if you love the idea of the LFL, a new Little Free Library has joined the family! Keep your eye out for the recently-registered library in the Crossings neighborhood.
The Little Free Lake Mary “Fairy” Library stewards, the Burkharts, hope to add to their epic Little Free Library road trip from last year and take time this summer to visit the other Little Free Libraries in Altamonte and Orlando. They look forward to taking part in the "interlibrary loan" (Little Free Library Stewards call it "book bombing" when they bring and drop a handful of books into other local LFLs) and reading the summer away.
