“As the demand for professional pilots continues to rise, funding resources are also in high demand for the next generation of aviators,” says Michael Cimmino, director of enrollment management at Aerosim Flight Academy. “Diverse and generous scholarships provide eligible students the opportunity to pursue their passion and reach their career goals while alleviating a portion of the financial responsibility.”
Aerosim Flight Academy is committed to providing the very best flight training using top-quality equipment like the Cessna 172 aircraft as the primary private trainer, the technically advanced Cirrus SR-20 aircraft as its primary instrument trainer, and the Piper PA44 as the primary multi-engine trainer.
Additionally, Aerosim specializes in developing the industry’s most advanced flight simulation equipment. Students at Aerosim Flight Academy have access to various training devices.
These state-of-the-art training devices are an integral part of the training program, which immerses the cadet in a life-like environment with a fully functioning cockpit, realistic engine sounds, and visual scenery.
Originally established in 1989 and based at the Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), the academy is the only flight school originally owned and operated by Comair Airlines and Delta Air Lines.
Today, under the name of Aerosim Flight Academy, the rich history of professional pilot training continues with flight training courses approved by the FAA under 14 CFR Part 141 and specialized flight training approved under 14 CFR Part 61.
Aerosim Flight Academy is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and provides a professional flight training environment based on sophisticated airline standards.
Aerosim continually strives to transform students into successful airline pilots who exceed the expectations of airlines worldwide. In addition, the academy’s aircraft maintenance department has received the Federal Aviation Administration’s Diamond Award of Excellence annually since 2003.
In its 27 years of operation, the academy has provided more than two million hours of flight instruction to more than 7,000 pilots and issued more than 20,000 certificates, all while growing its reputation as one of the safest, most reliable flight academies in the world.
