Ashton Woods is offering brand-new homes in the Sweetwater community, turning heads with its innovative design options.

The Sweetwater community has always been a desirable place to live. The long-established community, whose first residences were built in the 1970s, is made up of thousands of homes within various developments. The idea of having new homes available within this community is something many potential homeowners have been waiting for, and it is now a reality thanks to Ashton Woods.

Ashton Woods has never been a typical homebuilder. The company prides itself on offering personalization and possibilities that reflect the unique people who live in the homes they build. The goal: to provide a homebuilding experience that is more personal, collaborative, and empowering than homeowners ever could have imagined. The Estates at Sweetwater is a perfect example of what Ashton Woods aspires to create.

A gated community with 49 homes situated within the highly sought-after Sweetwater Golf & Country Club, The Estates at Sweetwater features new, innovatively crafted, Mediterranean-inspired homes, many of which are located along the golf course. Ashton Woods began developing the community in 2016, and nearly half of the single-family home sites have already been sold. However, the homebuilder is also designing new, Spanish Colonial-style townhomes specifically for this development.

“I’m really excited to be a part of this,” says Rich Foutz, sales manager. “The community has wanted something new for a while, and I feel like we’re bringing a different feel to it by offering so many unique design options.”

Rich grew up in the Sweetwater community and attended Sabal Point Elementary School, Rock Lake Middle School, and Lake Brantley High School. He has seen the area being built out since he was a child, and as a new home sales professional, he understands how desirable it is to have brand-new homes in an established community.

“Sweetwater has been popular for 30 years, but potential homeowners want new options,” says Rich. “Thanks to an agreement with the country club, we were able to develop new homes adjacent to the golf course.”

Kristin Vuckovic, marketing manager at Ashton Woods, says the multiple design options and attention to detail is what makes her company stand out. The Studio by Ashton Woods is a state-of-the-art design center in downtown Orlando where expert designers bring buyers’ visions to life and create homes unique to them.

“In The Estates, we have nine floor plans to choose from,” Kristin says. “We also have a variety of exteriors available for each model.”

The one- and two-story floor plans range from 2,066 to 3,598 square feet. From tile backsplashes to rustic pendant lamps to flooring options and fixtures, homebuyers can create a truly custom living space.

“This community is truly unique because of its broad array of models and design options,” says Kristin. “We were chosen because of our reputation, so we want to provide the most beautiful designs and details for all of our homebuyers.”
Rich sees The Estates at Sweetwater as a breath of fresh air for the community.

“The Sweetwater community is home to many people, and being able to offer them new options without having to move away from an area they love is great,” he says. “Having grown up here, I know how special this community is, and we’re making it even more desirable with this new development.”
