At Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, independent agents not only are committed to helping clients achieve their real-estate goals, they also donate their time and money to help area charities that provide valuable services and programs in our local communities.

To that end, the company’s charitable arm, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Cares, has raised millions of dollars for more than 700 charities and nonprofit organizations throughout Florida since its creation in 2001. At the end of 2018, Cares donations totaled more than $4.4 million, and fundraising efforts so far this year have boosted that total to more than $5 million.

In addition to agents contributing money from their closings, the Cares foundation is funded through a variety of events, including community walks and races, golf tournaments, luncheons, and casino nights.

So far in 2019, affiliated agents and staff in Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s Winter Springs/Oviedo office, under the leadership of Managing Broker David Robinson, have shown community spirit and giving hearts by participating in events to raise money for Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida. Here are just a few examples of the team’s fundraising efforts:

Make-A-Wish’s Walk for Wishes: About 65 agents affiliated with Coldwell Banker’s Central Florida offices participated in the 12th annual walk at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, surpassing their $8,000 fundraising goal by raising nearly $9,000, making Coldwell Banker the event’s top company team.

Wine, Women & Shoes: The Winter Springs/Oviedo office donated $2,500 to the annual Wine, Women & Shoes event to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank, which fights hunger in Central Florida.

Ronald McDonald House Charities: For its $5,000 contribution, Coldwell Banker of Central Florida was recognized at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Cornerstone Society Donor Recognition Luncheon.

Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Cares also supports many other organizations and programs throughout Central Florida, including Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the American Cancer Society, to name just a few. The company and affiliated agents are able to contribute to charitable organizations because of the tremendous support the community provides by selling and buying homes through Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate.
“Our office is happy and proud to contribute to each of these amazing local organizations because we appreciate and respect what they do in our communities and support their mission,” David says. “Many of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s affiliated agents are committed to donating their time and money to help these worthy charitable events.”

Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Cares is a chapter of the Realogy Charitable Foundation, Inc., which works to improve the quality of life in communities where Realogy Holdings Corp. has a presence. With more than 6,000 affiliated agents in 85 offices, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate serves the communities of Central Florida; Flagler, Brevard, and Palm Beach counties; Southeast Florida; Southwest Florida; Tampa Bay; and the Panhandle.
