Integrity is defined as doing the right thing in the right way, and it’s the cornerstone of Altamonte Springs-based Miller Johnson Law, P.L., a client-centric law firm serving the area for more than a decade.
The firm specializes in real estate, handling residential and commercial transactions, real-estate litigation, and title services through its attorney-supervised Residential Title Group. The practice also serves area businesses with their needs and provides estate planning and family law. The majority of the firm’s clients are banks, investors, developers, business owners, and property management companies.
The four-attorney firm may be small, but it’s the expertise of each member of the team that allows Miller Johnson Law to provide superior transactional and litigation legal services.
“We have a team philosophy,” says Barry Johnson, partner and shareholder, who joined the firm in 2014. “The harder we work together, the more we can do for our clients and the community. Our ultimate goal is to provide cost-effective counsel and exceed client expectations.”
Out in the community, the firm supports Allie’s Hope, Christian Help, and other charitable organizations. Miller Johnson Law was founded in 2009 by managing shareholder and partner Gary Miller as Miller, Hester, and Isley. It evolved to become Miller Johnson Law in 2016. Gary, a graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, is a longtime Orlando-area attorney who began practicing in 1982.
Barry, who lives in Winter Springs with his wife, Rebecca, and three children under the age of six, was born in Winter Park. A Florida Coastal School of Law graduate, Barry is a huge sports fan. He played college football at Jacksonville University and is a Chicago Cubs season-ticket holder.
Gary is an area native, as well, and attended Lyman High School. Gary, his wife Stacey, and their three sons have lived in the Maitland area since 1999. Gary enjoys relaxing at the beach with his family and watching the Florida Gators.
Miller Johnson Law is also home to attorneys Christine Berk and Lori A. Pieper. Christine, a fellow graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law, serves as a litigation and transactional attorney. Lori specializes in family law, estate planning, and probate. She is an alumna of the Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law.
Rounding out the staff are Jacquelyn C. Carson, managing residential escrow officer; Stephanie Tate, office manager/paralegal; and the smiling face of Miller Johnson Law, receptionist Nicolette Wunderly.
