Bryan Repple first heard about OsteoStrong a few years ago while attending a conference in West Palm Beach. The guest speaker was the founder of OsteoStrong, who spoke about the breakthrough technology for all ages that focuses on skeletal strength conditioning. The founder went on to say, with OsteoStrong, this technology is being applied to the skeletal system by increasing bone and muscle tissue, improving strength, and leading to a better quality of life.
“I thought, if this is true, this is revolutionary,” Bryan says. “OsteoStrong is a unique place where you can go to improve your overall health by focusing on the one thing we all have in common: a skeletal system. Everyone in the fitness industry talks about muscles, but I had never heard anyone talk about bones and our skeletal system.”
On his drive back from West Palm Beach, Bryan called his friend, Cheree Burgess, who has 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, waking her up at 2:00 in the morning to tell her about his new discovery.
“I thought he was crazy; he was on an awesome conference high,” Cheree says, with a smile. “But I started doing research, watching videos, and talking to people, and I had an aha moment. Being in the fitness industry for years, I have always looked at the body from the outside in. Our skeletal system is our true foundation and the strength of our body, and we can only be as strong as our skeletal system can handle.”
Bryan and Cheree traveled the country for the next year-and-a-half, visiting several OsteoStrong locations and asking members about their experiences. After hearing many positive testimonials, they decided to bring the groundbreaking OsteoStrong system to the Central Florida area, with Bryan as the owner and Cheree as center director. Their Lake Mary location opened in December on International Parkway.
“What we do here is skeletal strength conditioning,” says Bryan, a 1993 Oviedo High School graduate who was on the Lions’ 1992 State Champion basketball team. “By strengthening the skeletal system, it unleashes an entirely new level of physical capabilities in ways never thought possible. Just by strengthening the skeletal system, members are seeing an increase in muscle strength, balance, agility, posture, and the reduction or elimination of joint and back pain.”
OsteoStrong is based on cutting-edge technology, utilizing four machines that stimulate the skeletal system through a process called osteogenic loading. The program takes just 15 minutes once a week, can be done in street clothes, and does not make you sweat. But, according to studies and satisfied members, the results can be remarkable.
