It’s been just more than a year since Park Jewelers moved into its expanded showroom in the FishBones plaza off County Road 46A. What has Tony Tsirigotis managed to do with this luxurious new space? Quite a bit, as it turns out, much to the benefit of the Lake Mary community and those within it who love all things beautiful.

“We could’ve stayed in our prior location and would’ve been happy, but we couldn’t have grown the way we wanted to within the last year,” says Tony. “Here in our new home, we have almost doubled the size of our sales floor, allowing us to add more than 10 additional showcases.”

Tony didn’t just add more. With the help of his team – including wife Sylvie, son Demetre, and now his daughter Maria helping out – Park Jewelers has really taken it to a new level. Acquiring national luxury jewelry brands was always Tony’s goal. Now he and the team have that ability.

Earlier this year, Tony and Demetre traveled to Las Vegas to attend the largest jewelry show in the United States. There, Tony had planned to meet with top jewelry brands in the hopes of bringing them to Park Jewelers. Roberto Coin and John Hardy were at the top of the list.
“Bringing in new styles and brands is the key to growth for the store,” says Tony.

Roberto Coin is a high-end Italian Jewelry line known for culturally inspired fine-jewelry pieces. Meeting with them and showing that Park Jewelers was just the right fit for this amazing line was a big priority at the show.

“Demetre and I were waiting at this amazing booth that was set up like a regular boutique, like something you would see on 5th Avenue in New York,” Tony recalls. “The Roberto Coin collection was surrounding us, it was so impressive. At first, the Roberto Coin rep was looking at us like, ‘Who are you?’”

”We’re from Park Jewelers in Lake Mary,” Tony replied. Tony had to explain that Lake Mary is a town outside of Orlando and definitely worthy of a visit. A few months later, the rep walked into Park Jewelers and was immediately impressed. After a good deal of legwork, Park Jewelers is now proud to be an authorized retailer of Roberto Coin.

“We were all beyond excited to get this line into the store,” says Tony. “It is only available at the finest jewelry stores around the world, and now it’s here in your backyard.

Tony and Demetre’s next big exciting appointment at the show was with John Hardy, another major national high-end jewelry line. John Hardy pieces are inspired by the island of Bali with bold designs and attention to every detail. John Hardy combines sterling silver and 18-karat gold with diamonds and gemstones in a unique way. After several months of planning, Park Jewelers is honored to now be an authorized John Hardy retailer.

“The Las Vegas show was a great way to see what was trending and what classic designers we thought would appeal to our clientele,” says Tony.

A. Link, known for its 35-inch diamond necklaces, and William Henry, one of the finest pocket knife manufacturers in the country, are also now available at Park Jewelers. All are in addition to the prior existing brands that Tony has brought to the store.
These national brands and fine-quality lines carried at Park Jewelers are truly something for customers to be excited about. Tony and the team certainly are.

“And now we have the space to showcase it all properly,” Tony says. “This has been really special for us, but the one constant in all of this is that we continue to run this business as a family. I’ve been in the jewelry business for over 35 years, doing business in this community since 1995. I was younger than Demetre is now when I started. Going to work at a job I love is amazing. Getting to work with my family makes it a blessing. I have always had loyal customers, some for more than 30 years. Being able to offer styles for every customer’s taste and budget without sacrificing quality has always been our ultimate goal. I couldn’t be happier.”

Now that you can shop the finest jewelry from across the world, all from the comfort of Lake Mary, you’ll be happy too.
