SoFLo Hot Yoga is a safe space where yoga is accessible to everybody, every body type, and every practice level. The brand-new studio in Lake Mary officially opened in June and is owned by business partners Anna Jennings and Izabela Sobik, who became fast friends through their connection to the area’s vibrant Polish community.

Anna and Izabela exemplify why yoga is beneficial and lifegiving to anyone at any stage. Anna first began practicing in 2006, eventually becoming an instructor. Izabela fell in love with the gentleness of the practice and its soothing benefits.
“No other forms of exercise felt right or good until I tried yoga,” says Izabela. “This was a revelation for me. I felt so much better, more relaxed, and more positive. Anyone can do yoga and will feel the difference.”

“Yoga has been so good to me and is a constant in my life,” says Anna. “We’re so happy to bring our dream studio to the community.”

Together, Anna and Izabela created SoFLo Hot Yoga to build an open and welcoming community for all to experience the healing power of yoga practice. The beautiful studio features two calming spaces for heated and non-heated practice including Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, Yin Yoga, Accessible Yoga, Yoga Foundations, and yoga for kids and teens. Certified and experienced instructors offer a variety of teachings and provide modifications and guidance for new students.

“Our intention is for everyone to feel included,” says Izabela.

An infrared heating system is used for the studio’s selection of hot yoga classes, which is good for the skin and skeletal system and helps with the detoxification process. Additionally, childcare with a certified caregiver is available a few times a week. Parents can have peace of mind knowing their children are being looked after while they enjoy an hour of mindful practice.

“Our goal is to help you connect your body and mind through meditation, movement, and concentration,” says Anna. “To free up your mind from thinking and planning, to feel relieved from life’s pressures.”

While COVID-19 remains a pressure point for many, yoga is a great way to destress, relieve anxiety, and set time aside for yourself, now more than ever. The studio is taking every safety measure including social distancing between students, requiring masks in the lobby, checking temperatures, and sanitizing after every class.

SoFLo Hot Yoga is located near the Lake Mary SunRail station in the Crystal Lake Business Center at ç. The studio is currently offering special pricing and membership options including a free trial class and one month of unlimited classes for $40. Visit SoFLoHotYoga.com for more information.
