The Enclave at Altamonte

Steps away from the energy and activity of Altamonte Springs, with easy access to all the Orlando area has to offer, The Enclave at Altamonte is attracting the attention of homebuyers who are seeking low-maintenance, spacious townhomes in a safe and distinctive community.

“You are within walking distance to shopping, dining, the movies, Altamonte Mall, and Cranes Roost Park,” says Kristin Vuckovic, marketing director for Ashton Woods, the builder and developer of The Enclave at Altamonte. Ashton Woods has been blazing new trails in homebuilding for more than 25 years.

Each townhome within The Enclave at Altamonte rises three stories, offering square footage that can rival many single-family homes. Three layouts are available from which to choose: the 1,989-square-foot Kilmer, the Haines (1,904 square feet), and the Lawrence (1,718 square feet).

Popular Kilmer end-units feature a remarkably large master walk-in closet. It’s so spacious, there is room for a settee or small vanity. For those seeking an open floor plan on the second floor, the Haines allows for a continuous flow from the family room through to the kitchen. The Lawrence gives homeowners the option of a balcony accessible from the family room.

Regardless of the model, there is no shortage of cabinet space or closets for linens, coats, and storage. All units offer three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, balconies, and two-car attached garages, an anomaly in most townhomes at this price. The Enclave at Altamonte townhomes start at $272,990 and offer something for everyone.

One bedroom is conveniently located on the first floor with two bedrooms on level three, all carpeted and each with its own bathroom. Powder rooms with pedestal sinks are positioned on the second floor, where main entrances are situated. The townhomes can be accessed via the garage on the ground floor, as well. Master bathrooms feature double sinks and a walk-in shower.

Known for its love of natural light, Ashton Woods provides an array of double-pane, energy-efficient windows, keeping electric bills low and living space well lit. High ceilings, which range from 10 feet on the main floor to nine feet on floors one and three, add to the roomy feel in each home. Separate AC thermostats control heat and air on each level.

Kristin adds that new and prospective home buyers praise the neighborhood amenities that include daily valet trash service (Monday-Friday), landscape maintenance, and a community pool with a shaded cabana and restrooms.

Lauren Yarko, community sales manager for The Enclave, who loves the models and community so much she recently purchased a Kilmer townhome herself, says of the 108 planned units in the community, more than half have been sold since sales began two years ago. Lauren adds that a major selling point at The Enclave is the ability to personalize your floor plan.

“We have a design studio where buyers are able to personalize flooring, countertops, and all interior finishes and fixtures, including doors,” she says. “And our designers are always up on the latest trends. We tell people to create a Pinterest Board and bring it to our studio for inspiration.” 

Ashton Woods also offers move-in-ready townhomes for those on a tighter time frame.

“We are attracting families who are downsizing, as well as first-time homebuyers,” says Lauren. “You can buy these luxury townhomes for what you are paying in rent, plus you get more space and can build equity.”

She says the average mortgage payment at The Enclave is around $1,600 a month, depending on the down payment and credit score. Even sweeter, homeowner’s insurance is included in the HOA dues, meaning no additional annual premiums. Ashton Woods also offers a three percent down loan program via their preferred lender Wells Fargo, which is attractive to many buyers.  

Kristin says that professionals and those who travel frequently are drawn to The Enclave due to its easy access to Interstate 4 and SunRail, both located within a mile. Other homeowners enjoy the proximity to dining and everyday conveniences. The community is centrally located near shopping and entertainment, yet feels more like it’s own private oasis once you arrive.
“You really feel tucked away here,”       says Kristin.
