The Principal Law Firm 2018

For many of us, our homes and families are the center of our lives. They are the principal priority. The same is true for attorney Shivon Patel, and it’s why she founded The Principal Law Firm more than eight years ago in Sanford.

A lifelong Floridian, Shivon grew up here, went to school and college here, founded her business here, and is raising her family here. Seminole County and the greater Central Florida region has become an extension of her home, and Shivon works every day to serve the community she considers part of her family.

Working side-by-side with her husband Amit Patel, CPA/CFP, of A.P. Accounting & Tax Services (his office is literally right next door), Shivon offers legal counsel for real-estate law, estate planning and probate, and business law – in addition to a full-service title company that provides commercial and residential closing, title, and escrow services.

“We really do strive to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with our clients,” says Shivon. “We opened our firm with the philosophy that we would not nickel-and-dime our clients, and it has resonated within the community and with our clients. It has set our firm apart from the dozens of others.”

But helping people find homes, secure their families, and grow their businesses is just a start for Shivon. She sits on the boards for three local nonprofit organizations and is an active community supporter. For more than four years, Shivon has been involved with Sports 4 the Kids and The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools. Last year, she chaired the Arts Alive in Seminole! fundraiser for the Foundation, and this year she chaired its Tools 4 Seminole Schools initiative. Two years ago, Shivon partnered with the Florida Hospital Foundation and now sits on its board, as well.

Strengthening the community through honest service and involvement will always be at the heart of Shivon’s work ethic. What does your family need? Whatever it may be, The Principal Law Firm is here to help.
