Setting foot on Trinity Preparatory School’s beautiful campus gives rise to an immediate sense of excellence – one of the school’s core values. The 104-acre campus, just minutes from Oviedo, is nestled between two lakes and boasts state-of-the-art facilities and a plethora of learning opportunities. There is a diverse student population; an emphasis on arts, athletics, and community service; and top-tier faculty for the 850 middle- and upper-school students. All of it has combined to help Trinity Prep flourish over the last 51 years and counting.

“Trinity Prep is known as the number-one private school in Central Florida, and we are extremely proud of that, but there is so much more to know about us,” says Catherine McWhorter, director of admission. “Kids have a lot of fun here. Our head of school – Byron M. Lawson, Jr. – emphasizes how important it is that our young people laugh, play, perform, and learn.                We celebrate the talents of our students and draw them out as they pursue excellence.”

There are long-standing traditions on campus like Headmaster’s Day, a day full of field games and competition between grades, and newly created traditions like Saint Stops, a surprise gathering for fun and games on the school’s front lawn. Together with the advanced education inside the classroom, Trinity Prep students genuinely enjoy learning and reap a lifetime of benefits in return.

“We want to develop who our students are as people, beyond the academics and athletics, and it dovetails nicely with our other core values of faith and spirituality and family,” says Catherine. “We talk about the importance of your character, we model it, we encourage it, and we pull out those intrinsic qualities. We approach our goals in a tactical manner and provide lots of avenues for our students.”

Regular community service is one way Trinity Prep students are bettering themselves, and the school is proud to have worked with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity to help build the most homes of any school in the country.

It’s time to see Trinity Prep for yourself. Sign your child up for an Open House or Shadow Day to see what it’s really like to be a Trinity Prep Saint. With even more opportunities like real-time distance learning through the Malone Schools Online Network Program, access to over $2.1 million in need-based tuition assistance, and transportation services for students to and from campus, you’ll know your child will be in the best hands possible.
