Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens Introduces Zoo Insider Tours
Experience the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens like never before with all-new Zoo Insider Tours. These interactive, guided experiences give guests the chance to go beyond a typical visit to the Zoo.
Led by knowledgeable Zoo staff and volunteers, the unscripted tours take small groups of up to 10 guests on a relaxed, 60-minute journey through the Zoo. Because the tours are flexible and conversational, no two experiences are ever the same. Guests can ask questions, spark discussions, and learn more about a wide range of topics, including animal care, conservation efforts, Zoo operations, and fun animal facts you might not learn during a regular visit.
Designed for all ages, the tours offer an engaging way to explore the Zoo while connecting more deeply with the animals and those who care for them. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a longtime fan, it’s a unique opportunity to experience the Zoo from a new perspective.
Guests can also enjoy a new hands-on activity at the Zoo’s Barnyard: goat brushing. During this experience, visitors can gently brush the goats as the animals walk freely around their environment. It’s a fun, interactive way to get up close with the goats while learning more about their personalities and care. There is no extra fee for this activity, which is included with a regular Zoo admission ticket.
From insider stories to up-close encounters, these new experiences bring guests closer to the animals, the folks who care for them, and the Zoo’s mission to create connections that inspire people to take action for wildlife.
Zoo Insider Tours are offered at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The cost is $12 for Zoo annual passholders and $15 for non-members. Advance purchase is recommended.
