The Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce has new leadership and a revamped strategy to help its member businesses be even more profitable.
A custom-designed membership model is in the works, tailored to the unique needs of the various member industries, says Johana Ramirez, the Chamber’s new president and CEO.
“Every industry is different,” says Johana, “and we want our members to feel that their membership is both relevant and impactful.”
Future chamber events will go beyond a traditional social hour to empower members with tools and resources to thrive.
Johana, who has more than a decade of experience as a CEO, says the 490-member Chamber is also looking to promote economic development, diversity, and inclusion.
“Every initiative we roll out will be rooted in intentionality and aligned with our long-term vision of creating a thriving, inclusive business ecosystem rooted in the Chamber’s core values,” she says.
The Chamber will also help its business sectors collaborate more to fulfill every member’s need to grow their networks.
Johana and her team intend to make economic development a key component of upcoming chamber events. Already in the works for 2026 is a mixer and hiring event.
“We plan to be more educational on how to network, close deals, and do things with intention,” says Johana.
