Steffanie Rigetta at Farmers Insurance wants to insure your home, cars, boats, motorcycles, and your family’s well-being. That may sound a bit obvious and simplistic, but it’s more important than you think considering the recent history of other major insurance carriers in Florida.
“Other companies have pulled out of Florida altogether or have become very restrictive about the homes they’ll insure here, but Farmers Insurance is fully committed to this community and the state,” says Steffanie, one of the first Farmers Insurance agents to serve Florida when the company began offering home and auto insurance here in 2018. “We’re really a great option for those looking for a reputable carrier with a recognized Catastrophe Claims Response Team on standby and ready to help our customers.”
That commitment is reflected in Steffanie’s service inside her Altamonte Springs office and out in the community she calls home. She immediately joined the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Altamonte Springs to help connect to her community. During the coronavirus pandemic, Steffanie and her staff fed hungry firefighters at the Maitland fire stations and fearless healthcare workers at the AdventHealth Emergency Department.
When it’s time to write policies or file claims, Steffanie brings a completely unique perspective to her clients that is unmatched in our area. Before opening her Farmers Insurance office, she spent 24 years as a special investigator for one of America’s largest insurance companies.
“That experience really drives the ethics of this office,” says Steffanie, who has an extensive claim litigation background. “I don’t approach my clients as a salesperson. Everyone in this office is a teacher, as insurance can be a foreign language. We make sure clients understand their coverages and what they are buying. We have a combined 50 years of insurance experience here, and we use that experience to benefit every one of our clients.”
The results speak for themselves. Steffanie has been a top producer for Farmers Insurance in Florida every year since her office opened, and she was recently recognized nationally as a Topper Club agent, meaning she is one of the top Farmers Insurance agents in the country.
“We just celebrated our second anniversary in this office, and the community’s support has been so gratifying,” Steffanie says. “Clients we quoted 12 or 18 months ago are now coming back to us to establish policies, and that means so much. We want to do business here, and we’re committed to serving the community the right way.”
