Stevens Kitchens

At Stevens Kitchens in Oviedo, beautiful remodels are only part of the story. Behind every thoughtfully designed space is something even more meaningful: a company deeply committed to building people, careers, and a culture of growth.
Owner Steve Tedesco, who brings more than 20 years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry, has created a workplace where opportunity is more than a promise – it’s a proven path. Still actively involved in kitchen design, Steve works closely with clients while leading his team and cultivating a people-first business model.
“We’re not a contractor that does kitchens and bathrooms – we’re a design and service center that builds spaces and people,” says Steve.
Many of the employees at Stevens Kitchens began in entry-level roles and worked their way up through dedication and mentorship. Jose Torres, Steve’s right-hand man and field supervisor, started as a delivery and service technician. Dylan White followed a similar path and is now training for a supervisory role. Santiago “Santi” Conde progressed from delivery driver to warehouse manager, while Josh Martin advanced from purchasing into a key operations coordinator position overseeing scheduling and logistics.
Reem Kader, the company’s lead sales designer, sets the tone for design excellence and client experience. Gabi Johns began as an administrative assistant, transitioned into sales support, and now manages her own design clients. Emma Conde, Steve’s daughter, started at the front desk and is continuing her journey toward becoming a designer.
At Stevens Kitchens, this emphasis on internal promotion is intentional.
“If you work hard and want to grow, there’s always an opportunity here,” says Steve. “One of the most rewarding parts of this business is watching someone start at the bottom and grow into a leader.”
New hires are welcomed into a supportive atmosphere, where mentorship, training, and initiative are genuinely valued and team members are treated like family.
That family-oriented culture is also reflected in real relationships. Recently, Emma and Santiago were married at The Howey Mansion in Howey-in-the-Hills – a wonderful occasion for the Stevens Kitchens family. Congratulations to Emma and Santiago. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness!
