“I’m a bulldog!”

When Attorney Grace Anne Glavin utters those three words, she does so without a trace of arrogance. It’s simply a statement of fact.

“When I represent a client,” she says, “I become a fierce advocate.”

Grace has been strongly advocating for her clients for decades. The daughter of a respected New York judge and prominent New Deal politician, she faced the extraordinary challenges a female attorney had to overcome back in the late 1970s. For five years, Grace was the only woman employed at a renowned banking and general civil practice law firm in Syracuse, New York. 

After moving to Central Florida, Grace started her own law firm in Winter Springs in 1985. She specializes in business, family, and real estate law (including planning, closings, and evictions), and also owns and operates Morgan Title Company.

“The world has changed dramatically over the past 40 years,” notes Grace. “My practice represents a wide range of people and generations, from baby boomers to millennials to zoomers. I guide them through the range of emotional choices they face, keeping in mind that some of my younger clients don’t know a world when there was no internet, iPhones, or social media.”

Grace’s secret sauce is to understand her clients’ emotional needs while pursuing a practical course of action that will ensure they make wise legal decisions.

“You must always understand the human element in any legal situation,” she says.

While Grace keeps up with the times in every facet of her practice – all records are digital, for example – she remains old-school in one aspect of her firm’s recordkeeping.

“I have kept hard copies of all of my clients’ estate-planning records in our main office,” says Grace. “This has served both me and my clients well over the years.”

Grace’s overall goal is to continue to serve her clients well by being a powerful advocate who works compassionately on their behalf.
