SOAR Health Advisors

At SOAR Health Advisors, seniors are never left to navigate the Medicare maze on their own. With the federal health insurance program’s multiple parts – A, B, C, and D – many seniors quickly realize that Medicare is far from a one-size-fits-all experience. Each person’s needs are unique, and having the right guidance can make all the difference.

Founded by Seminole County native Steve O. Alexander, SOAR Health Advisors is based in Altamonte Springs. The agency is home to a team of highly knowledgeable advisors who specialize in simplifying the Medicare process and ensuring that each client receives the right coverage. Their approach is personal, thorough, and deeply rooted in service, empathy, and integrity.

“We listen, we care, we go the extra mile,” says Steve. “We adore working with seniors, families, individuals, and small to midsize companies. Many of our clients are like family and have been with us since we opened our doors in 2017.”

SOAR’s advisors guide clients through all four parts of Medicare:

Part A: Hospitalization, nursing care, and short-term stay benefits

Part B: Medical services and preventive care

Part C (Medicare Advantage): Comprehensive, often more cost-effective alternatives

Part D: Prescription drug coverage

The advisors are also adept in claims research, drug exceptions, Medicare appeals, and annual rate shopping.

“For many seniors, however, turning 65 no longer means retiring,” says Lilly. “If you plan to keep working, understanding credible coverage becomes critical.”

Credible coverage simply means that the insurance you have through an employer or union is as good as Medicare in terms of benefits and cost. If your existing plan qualifies, you can safely delay signing up for Medicare Part B or Part D without facing costly late enrollment penalties later. If it does not, delaying Medicare could leave gaps in care and mean higher premiums down the road. SOAR’s exceptional agents help clients evaluate their current benefits and decide the right time to transition to Medicare.

“My advice to all new Medicare and currect Medicare recipients is to utilize an experienced agent to review your healthcare choices each year. It will definitely save you the heartache of missing an important step that could lead to penalities in the future,” says Lilly.

With SOAR Health Advisors, seniors secure more than just a Medicare plan – they also gain knowledge, peace of mind, and a trusted partner in healthcare.
