Sunshine Pharmacy
by Beverly Sorrells
Sunshine Pharmacy is bringing a dose of feel-good care to Longwood with the recent opening of its second location. The family-run business – led by Channi Sodhi, her husband and pharmacist manager Paul Sodhi, and daughter Mandy Sodhi – has spent the past nine years building a loyal following in Sanford.
Their new location at 876 South U.S. Highway 17-92 fills a gap in the area’s community pharmacy scene, offering prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, supplements, essential oils, and durable medical equipment.
Sunshine Pharmacy’s compounding services are especially notable, supporting hormone replacement, men’s and women’s health, and even veterinary needs – using all-natural ingredients instead of synthetics. Medications can be picked up, delivered, or mailed if needed.
Channi sees society’s growing interest in wellness as a positive shift.
“We want people to be healthier, to take care of themselves, eat healthy and exercise, and take their meds when it is beneficial for them to do so,” she says.
At Sunshine Pharmacy, the goal is simple: to make every customer feel welcomed. Channi, Paul, and Mandy are supported by a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and drivers, all eager to serve their clients.
That community-first mindset goes both ways. Supporting local businesses such as Sunshine Pharmacy enables the Sodhis to give back through outreach, education, and personalized care that turns neighbors into family.
