Realtor Karen Ripperger

by Laura Breen Galante

Realtor Karen Ripperger has experienced plenty of life transitions – from the challenging to the positive. She uses those varied experiences to confidently guide clients who are going through their own life transitions.

“Sometimes your housing needs change,” says Karen. “I know what it’s like to be in a growing family. I even went through a time when I was on my own with my girls. And then you come to a time when you have an empty nest. It’s another phase of life, and there’s a lot to figure out.”

If you find yourself in need of a housing change, Karen is here to help. She is known for taking the time to understand your current property and earn top dollar for it, so you can find the right home for your next phase of life.

“I love to put finishing touches on a home to try to maximize its value,” says Karen, a University of Central Florida graduate. “I’m passionate about making the house show in its absolute best light.”

In Karen’s 29 years of working in the real estate industry, she has found her niche in preparing and staging homes to increase their sales appeal. On occasion, she has even taken items from her own home to display in her listed properties.

“My husband asked me where our end tables went, and I had to tell him they were in a client’s house,” says Karen with a laugh.

Not only does Karen understand what makes a house sell, she knows every client and transaction are unique. For example, a different approach is needed for a young family purchasing a home with a parent’s help versus an elderly client moving out of their home and into an assisted living community. It’s important to consider all the parties involved and help everyone work together toward the same goal.

“I’ve been through a lot, so I recognize the different needs that come up in each stage of life,” says Karen. “I’m there to help you in all your phases of life.”
