When you think of Rock & Brews in Oviedo, several things come to mind: the restaurant’s rock ‘n’ roll vibe, delicious food, and sports bar filled with big-screen TVs.

“The music is great,” says general manager Tavo Mendez. “If I see a kid playing air guitar, I’ve done my job.”

And although the big-screen TVs and rockin’ playlist are fun for sports lovers and music fans alike, it’s the tasty American food selections that keep customers coming back to Rock & Brews time and again. The restaurant’s scratch kitchen takes no shortcuts.

“Nothing is frozen,” says Tavo. “We filet our own fish, cut our own steaks, make our own rubs.”

A Rotarian and board member of HOPE Helps and the ¡Viva Oviedo! Festival, Tavo enjoys helping area residents celebrate their special occasions – whether in the restaurant or out in the community.

Rock & Brews caters a wide variety of events, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, baby showers, birthday luncheons, bar mitzvahs, and business presentations. Tavo also partners with trusted local vendors to provide any extras that a client might need for their special occasion. Everything is customizable to the client’s budget.
