Jessica Hall Speak, the company’s broker, notes that Flarent has served as a liaison between property owners and tenants since 1991. By handling the day-to-day operations, Flarent helps landlords and tenants maintain a professional relationship, reducing stress on both parties. Jessica is proud that Flarent, which was founded by her parents, is still a family-owned company. In her early years with the business, she assisted with cleaning rental homes and making repairs. After college, she earned her real estate license and began working at the company full time. Jessica took over as Flarent’s leader after her father passed away in 2020, knowing she was the right person to continue the same level of care and attention the company has shown its clients for the past three decades.

“I’ve been in every single role in the business,” says Jessica, “and I think it’s really helpful that I was able to do all those things, so that I now have first-hand knowledge of the entire operation.”
