Greene, Dycus & Co., P.A.
by Kevin Fritz
For three generations, Greene, Dycus & Co., P.A. has served Central Florida and beyond with a client-centric approach for individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations that has never wavered since the doors opened in 1953.
Now marking more than 70 years in business, the Sanford-based, full-service accounting firm – which handles accounting, auditing, and taxes for more than 1,000 clients – can trace its longevity to being service-oriented. The company prides itself on year-round contact and communication and timely responses to inquiries.
The firm’s three shareholder partners are Robert Kimelman, Thomas J. Frank, and Vanessa R. Talley. The partners and the rest of their team go out of their way to be there for clients and treat them like family.
Experience plays a big part in the company’s success. Each shareholder has been with the firm for about 20 years, while many of the dozen-plus employees on the team have been with Greene, Dycus & Co. for more than 10 years. For clients, that translates into seeing many familiar and friendly faces at the firm.
Because the firm has been in business for more than seven decades, its second- and third-generation employees work with an array of multigenerational clients. Grandsons and granddaughters continue to put their trust in the same firm that their grandparents did.
The certified public accountants at Greene, Dycus & Co. offer expertise in tax strategy, accounting, and auditing, as well as reviews and other attestation services, help with reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and drafting annual reports. The firm also assists with business start-up consulting, business coaching, and tax preparation and compliance services.
Beyond the office, Greene, Dycus & Co., P.A. is a true steward of the community. Staff members are a familiar sight around town, always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. The entire team is deeply involved in the community, taking pride in its work in and out of the office.
