Mainstreet Community Bank of Florida

by Georgia Rivas

New to our area, Mainstreet Community Bank of Florida has recently opened a branch in Oviedo and is ready to serve local customers and plant roots in this vibrant community.

Not so new, however, is the Oviedo branch’s seasoned team of banking professionals, who share a combined 100 years of experience and expertise. John Newell and Brian Smith, fellow vice presidents and longtime Oviedo residents, previously worked for Citizens Bank of Florida for 16 years. Now, they work alongside Windi Kenroy, Oviedo branch manager of Mainstreet Community Bank, and she is excited to jump into all that the city has to offer.

“Mainstreet Community Bank is proud to make Oviedo our hometown,” says Windi. “It’s especially exciting to be here just in time to celebrate the city’s 100th anniversary! We’ve immersed ourselves in everything, like the Chamber, Rotary Club, city events, and nonprofit causes. There’s a reason why Community is our middle name.”

At Mainstreet Community Bank, it’s not just about banking – it’s about building relationships and contributing to the prosperity of the community. While many banks seem to deliver a cookie-cutter approach to helping clients, the team at Mainstreet Community Bank takes each client’s situation into consideration to find the right solution for them. And if you call the bank with questions, an actual person will answer.

“You will get a human at the other end of the line, even at our 1-800 number,” says Windi. “It’s important to us to establish a personal connection right away.”

Adds Windi, “Our employees are what truly make us different. We have the same products and services as other financial institutions, but we deliver them with a personalized, hometown feel. We are all about forming relationships with our clients and being involved in the community. We eat local, shop local, live local, and bank local. We are your neighborhood bank.”

Mainstreet Community Bank is FDIC-insured and locally operated, and it offers commercial and consumer loans; a variety of personal, savings, and business accounts; secure online banking; and much more. If you’re looking for a banking experience that feels more like a partnership than a transaction, look no further than Mainstreet Community Bank.
