This is a big year for Stevens Kitchens, a home improvement business specializing in kitchens, baths, and more. The company is not only marking its 22nd year in operation – it is also revamping its showroom in Oviedo. Owner Steve Tedesco is excited about the showroom project, which is coinciding with an especially busy time at Stevens Kitchens. 

“We have a record number of projects lined up this spring, but our commitment to managing them with care and efficiency remains unwavering,” says Steve. “I feel blessed to have a great team of exceptional talent and proficiency.”

Changes are already underway in the showroom, where clients can see and get a feel for hardware, countertops, and other materials to better envision those amenities in their own homes. 

“We’re updating our displays and putting up new cabinetry fixtures,” says Steve. “There are so many different colors and textures offered for tile and flooring materials, but I am at capacity now with showroom space. Reconfiguring things will help customers get a better idea of current trends as they sit down and discuss their ideas with our expert designers.” 

Adds Steve, “During our consultations, our knowledgeable designers listen to client ideas and provide them with expert guidance and support in terms of product functionality, keeping them abreast of the latest trends.”

For example, while white cabinets and gray islands remain in vogue, the industry is now seeing more stained wood in kitchen and bath design, with color-splashed accents such as blue or green.

Stevens Kitchens also makes it a priority to educate its clients on current market price points. The team works diligently to ensure that customers’ expectations are met while remaining within the budget they have set.

“If a client wants a complete interior renovation that involves flooring, the flooring can represent a huge number in terms of cost,” says Steve, adding that labor and materials costs have increased post-COVID.
