Wilson & Company

Across Oviedo, evidence of Wilson & Company’s quality craftsmanship is on full display in the form of commercial construction projects ranging from retail centers to medical clinics.

The Oviedo-based Wilson & Company was founded in 1994 by Parks and Amelia Wilson, who have since retired. Most recently, the company added to its impressive local portfolio with an AdventHealth Primary Care+ facility on Alexandria Boulevard – a familiar commercial market sector for the firm.

“We lean heavily on the healthcare and medical space,” says Dave Grosz, Wilson & Company’s project manager.

In addition to serving its own community, Wilson & Company provides design and general contracting services to medical industry clients far beyond Oviedo’s borders. The firm builds medical facilities in Colorado, Kansas, Michigan, Maryland, and Texas, where the company has established a strong presence in the healthcare sector.

“We go where our clients want us to be,” says Dave.

Here in Oviedo, Wilson & Company’s standout medical-related projects include Memory Lane Cottage, the Patterson medical office building, Oviedo Endodontics, and Lawton Orthodontics, built to resemble the city’s famed Lawton House.

The key services Wilson & Company offers to its clients are: design and build, general contracting, and construction management. In addition to healthcare facilities, the firm’s long list of completed projects includes churches, banks, retail outlets, and government buildings, including the Oviedo Post Office.

Recently, Wilson & Company completed a project for its own team. In October, more than two dozen staff members moved into the firm’s new headquarters at 1725 Kennedy Point, just a mile-and-a-half from its former stomping grounds.

Built on land the company owns, the expanded building offers 3,800 square feet of office space and 1,200 square feet of warehouse space. And because business for Wilson & Company continues to grow, an additional 6,300 square-foot warehouse is now in the works. Both expansions are part of the company’s long-term plan to better serve the firm’s team and its client base.

“Our new building allows for more collaborative functional desk space,” says Barry Henderson, the company’s president. “And the additional warehouse space equates to improved organization.”
